    "S GRUNDY & NAVAL VET,...Why the hate?"

Why did you single out only Grundy and I? What about Bluto & Striker? Selective reading much??? Typical hypocritical coug.

    S GRUNDY & NAVAL VET,
Why the hate? There are people who read the DNews who are interested in Jimmer. Do you have nothing better to do than critique news articles in your mom's basement?

    Striker:

You DO know that the cougars ALWAYS start out earlier on the recruiting trail than most FBS programs, don't you? That's why their 2018 recruiting class is currently in the Top-25 right now. But by the time "Letter of Intent Day" rolls around, you're recruiting class will be right back down to where it typically is, and Utah's class will be ranked much higher. Sooo.....not much to brag about there for ya. Just sayin'...

I had the pleasure of watching Isaac play during his high school and college career. He is a class act. Although a star on his high school team, the Spanish Fork Dons, Isaac was always gracious, humble, and respectful. He also played with sportsmanship. Way to go Isaac. Now show your stuff in the NFL!

There isn't a more deserving guy than Asiata. This is one class act all the way around. He will be sorely missed on the hill - not only for his talent, but for his attitude and his love for the school and the football program. I will be an instant fan of whichever team picks him.

    Go Isaac!

    Go Utes!

Who did Jimmer have to beat out to be Warren County's most famous athlete? Anyone? For a county that's home to only 66K, I can't imagine that it would have been a very long and distinguished list.

    "their part"

6 major awards given to the National Player of the Year.
    Jimmer won all 6.

    @ S_Grumpy

To paraphrase Paul Simon, you are...
"Still bitter... after all these years, whoa still bitter, after all these years"...

Those 60 footers by Jimmer against your Utes still haunting you?

    Bust?
    Nice pejorative there.
I'll take some of that failure.

His story is not finished yet and while he continues to make millions and is featured on ESPN, (after 6 years) is a Superstar in a Nation of one billion people......

    You are.........Doing what?
Pining for your glory days in Ward ball?

As for the D news writing stories about him? Smart move on there part.

You see, unlike you and me..... he has a following, and a shoe contract.

    S grumpy,
Did you also see the scout article how BYU has the #22 best recruiting class for football in 2018, with one four star and six three stars? That's most than most from neighboring conferences. Pretty amazing isn't it? I thought you might had missed it so wanted to share with you. BYU, MVP of recruiting in the 2018 West?

    S grumpy,
Jimmer, the most famous person to play college basketball at a Utah school from the state of New York. MVP in college at BYU and MVP as a pro. It's fun to have MVP, BYU in the same sentence isn't it!? Live a little.

In 10 days we will learn if Isaac will be one of several Utes to be drafted. Because he won the 225 pound lift (for his position) at the combine I like his chances. (Only to be out done by Hunter at the Utes Pro day!)

    -Jazz are in NBA Playoffs.

-DNEWS still wants to promote ridiculous articles about a guy who was an NBA bust and played here over 6 years age because some guy says he may or may not be the most famous athlete from his tiny little county on the other side of the country.

    -Eye roll
