Yesterday was a very special day for me. I shed many tears remembering many special moments listening and watching President Monson. He is right there among my very favorites. I agree that there will not be another like him. He inspired me and continues to inspire me to be better every day. THANK YOU President Monson!

The funeral was an uplifting experience, and a beautiful tribute to a remarkable Prophet of God. Loved all the "highlights" that were selected for this article. My personal favorites: (1) “In a world now saturated with selfies, he modeled selflessness” (Pres. Nelson), (2) Ann Monson Dibb's remarks, (3) Pres. Nelson's recounting of the meeting with the German leader, and (4) Tab Choir's music.

Regarding #4: I'm surprised no mention was made of the exquisite musical numbers the Tab Choir provided for the funeral service. President Monson loved the Tab Choir, and personally selected the songs they sang at his funeral. "Consider the Lilies" and "O Divine Redeemer" were especially memorable. One could tell the love and respect the choir members had for this wonderful man/prophet as they performed the different songs. Their music added a great deal to the proceedings.

I was able to be part of this beautiful funeral ceremony in my family room with a sleeping two year old snuggled in my arms. It brought great joy in my heart when President Nelson had mentioned this quote from our beloved Prophet, “Never let a problem be more important than a person to love.” I have it framed and in my bathroom as a reminder that this little guy I’m snuggling won’t be little for long and that I need to enjoy him while I still have him. The mark that President Monson left in my heart is service and love. He was such a good example to teach us what it means and now with him continuing to serve on the other side, it is up to us to treasure that legacy in our hearts and be a good example to others like he was and serve. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for giving us such a wonderful man to be our prophet and I thank President Monson for all of his teachings and testimonies that he has shared through conference talks and it’s humbling to know that we have the Ensign and with his tender voice in our head reread his beautiful messages. I love President Monson and I am so blessed that I am a member of this great church and that I was able to know him.

What a perfect funeral for a near perfect man, Thomas S. Monson. I have completely enjoyed these past two weeks hearing the many tender stories of our Prophet and Friend. It is true, there will never be another like him and even though I never had the privilege to personally meet President Monson I learned from his constant examples of living a Christ like life. How lucky all of us were to have him with us all these wonderful years.
