This dear mother did expose the ruthless Maduro regime in doing everything possible to bring her son and daughter back to the U.S where they could get needed medical care. I can only imagine the stress of having a son falsely accused and left in prison but she never gave up and ultimately got him back.

I'm wondering if that was this dear mother's mission in her life and now it is fullfilled she has been released and called home. Some hero's don't wear costumes and costumed hero's can never match the strength and bravery of a mother's love.

When I heard the news yesterday on the news I couldn’t believe it. I thought that sure there was a mistake. Then I realized it wasn’t a mistake and I just wanted to cry. How very, very sad. While I’m thankful she and Josh had some time together, I wish there had been more.

She was an amazing, strong woman. I really respect and admire her. The family now has a fierce guardian angel looking over them.

My deep condolences and prayers are with the beautiful Holt family. God bless.

Very sad to hear, but at least she had the peace of having her son safely home before she passed.
